Simulacrum- I think simulacrum means to simulate, or to have others do for you.
I will be taking portrait photos of people.
It will take about 30 minutes for me to get what I want. I want to be able to have time to change settings and angles. Ill be just about all over campus to see where the lighting is good and again, figure out the settings. This is going to be great practice for portrait photography.
1. What I liked most about my tee shirt is the simplicity about it. Its not too flashy yet it meets all of the requirements. I really like the logo on the front of the shirt and its placement.
2. If I had more time for this short project is maybe try various color ways for the shirt and the colors for all the logos. 3. What I learned about a quick deadline is to always be on top of things and try to take the minimal breaks. 4. What I like most about working in photoshop is being able to do about anything and making things how you like it. Throughout the process of this silhouette project, I learned a lot about the settings to take a silhouette photograph. Time of day is very important because the placement of the sun for natural light. Also, settings must be perfect to get a good photo. I learned about the rule of third as well. After learning about the rule of third, i edited my photo to what it looks now. If you were to bring up the rule of thirds setting, Hunter would be placed at the bottom left corner of the middle box. I also edited this photo in camera bringing out the blacks and fixing up the contrast. I've learned a lot about photographs just within this project.
In this photograph taken by Frans Lanting, he is using the rule of thirds. If you were to put a grid on this photo, the penguin that has color would be in the top right corner of the middle box. There are three reasons why that penguin stands out the most. Number one, rule of thirds. Number two, it is the only penguin that has color to it. And number three is because it is the biggest penguin in the photograph. Frans Lanting did a great job with rule of third and the editing of this photo.
